It was in 2019 September that Suriya starrer ‘Kaappaan’, directed by KV Anand, hit the screens. The action thriller also features Mohanlal, Arya and Sayyeshaa in important roles. Today Sayyeshaa gets a bit nostalgic as she shares a few photographs and a short video from the shooting location of the film in Indonesia. While the film released in 2019 September, Arya and Sayyeshaa got married the same year in March.
According to the post that the actress has shared on her social media page, the team was in that location in Indonesia to shoot and song. And she says that it was one of the most challenging outdoor locations. However she adds that the song remains her favourite. She writes, “These are memories from my shooting in a remote part of #Indonesia for a song from #Kaappaan This definitely counts as one of my most challenging outdoors! It was a 4 day shoot in the most beautiful places but it was super cold and the locations were so remote. We would start getting ready at 12am…climb up to the location from 3am to 5am and then start shooting till it was almost sunset! We shot at live volcanoes with sulphur emerging out. You can see the smoke in the background! We had to be so careful…inhaling sulphur is super dangerous! Still the song remains one of favourites! (sic).”
On the work front, the actress recently appeared in ‘Yuvarathnaa’ in Kannada, which has Puneeth Rajkumar in the lead role. The action drama film was released early this month.
