Kangana Ranaut’s Thalaivi is all set for its grand theatrical release on April 23 and the film has got good expectations among the film buffs. The theatrical trailer of the film which released a few days before turned out to be a sensational hit among the audience and it created a huge buzz. The trailer gave the right kind of start for the film’s online promotions and the team must be elated with its response. The trailer showed us the life journey of J Jayalalitha (on whose life, the film is based upon) and her journey from an actress to a politician to becoming the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu. The film is going to be a celebration of sorts and at the same time, it will also be showcasing the hardships and challenges faced by Jayalalitha in her real life political journey.

Thalaivi is directed by Vijay who is known for his feel good and emotional dramas like Kireedam, Madarasapattinam, Deiva Thirumagal, Saivam, and more. Produced by Vishnu Vardhan Induri and Shailesh R Singh under the banner of Vibri Media in association with Karma Media and Entertainment, Thalaivi has music scored by GV Prakash Kumar. The young composer has been in great form in the recent past and it is going to be exciting to see his work in Thalaivi. Having said that, the makers are now ready for the release of the first single from the film.
Yes! The first single from Thalaivi is titled ‘Mazhai Mazhai’ and it is all set to be released tomorrow (April 2) on YouTube and other audio streaming platforms. Considering the fact that Thalaivi will also be released in Hindi and Telugu, the song will also release in those languages. The Hindi version of ‘Mazhai Mazhai’ is titled ‘Chali Chali’, while the Telugu version is titled ‘Ilaa Ilaa’. The song is crooned by GV Prakash’s wife and singer Saindhavi. The makers have now released the teaser of the film which looks quite promising. The teaser gives us a glimpse of the video song and it showcases Jayalalitha’s moments as an actor.
